Quality and comfortable warmth make the Equipe a top cold-weather jersey

The graphic style and slim cut of the Equipe may scream ‘roadie’ at you, but the soft brushed back of the Elite Pro Vent fabric makes you feel instantly warm.

Combined with that close fit it means you don’t get any cold spots – and on really cold days we find that’s more important than maintaining any pretext of cool slouchy (and draughty) style.

Paired with a gilet to keep breezes at bay we wear this right into dry winter days. It has a reassuring feel when you pull it on for cool starts, but doesn’t overheat horribly if the sun comes out, and a full-length front zip is always welcome for additional venting. Nicely long at the back, even on a tall tester, the fit through the shoulders is flexible and allows lots of room for movement.

We were impressed with the quality of manufacture – the extensive flatlocked seams were without fault and add to the overall comfort. The three rear pockets are deep and easy to access. We found ourselves keeping them stashed with kit and just grabbing this jersey for fast evening rides when we didn’t want a pack.
