Altura Ascent 3/4s review

Altura's 3/4s have a shorter cut than most, coming to just below the knees. They're a good touring option as they're light and dry quickly, and look good off the saddle too. Although there's no double-layer reinforcement, there is a mini gusseted crotch to prevent chaffing, and articulated knees.

Our review
A good looking 3/4 length cut-off short that would suit touring riders

Altura's 3/4s have a shorter cut than most, coming to just below the knees. They're a good touring option as they're light and dry quickly, and look good off the saddle too.

Although there's no double-layer reinforcement, there is a mini gusseted crotch to prevent chaffing, and articulated knees. The waist is elasticated with two pop buttons, a belt loop and two Velcro tabs. Pocket-wise, there are two zippered side ones and two thigh-high ones. Other features include an elasticated synch cord at the leg openings and Velcro tabs that seem more focused for fashion than function. In fact, everything looks good until you get the separate inners with Coolmax pads, which are simply minuscule.
