Super-light, comfy shorts

Good baggy shorts for performance cross-country riding can be hard to find but not impossible, as the Fox Epic shorts prove.

These are the dogs' - they're super light and very comfortable with an enormous amount of venting and a removable liner that provides just the right amount of padding. The shorts style liner is made from a soft wicking material and attaches to the outer via two small straps.

The outer is board short style, with a velcro fly and laces, and twin velcro straps to adjust the waist. The shorts sit just below the knee and have enormous vents up the outside of both thighs which, combined with the wicking liner, make for an ultra cool ride.

Some people might complain that these shorts don't offer much in the way of protection. Granted, you'd be rather vulnerable in a bail situation, but for those who dress for the ride, not the crash, they're fantastic.
