Fox High Frequency Shorts review

Fox always make super stylish gear, but the High Frequency shorts are high on performance too. The lightweight outer fabric is a bit flappy at speed but it dries quickly and fends off bushes and crashes well.

Can be a bit flappy but very mobile and mileage friendly

Fox always make super stylish gear, but the High Frequency shorts are high on performance too. The lightweight outer fabric is a bit flappy at speed but it dries quickly and fends off bushes and crashes well.

A seamless crotch stops pinpoint pain, and stretch panels on the back yoke and leg darts aid movement. The long, loose legs can sometimes grab saddles or seatpost QRs but the zipped vents and pockets are well positioned.

Adjustable velcro side strips allow a comfy fit even after lunch. The mesh liner is sewn in so you can't get away with swapping liners between washes, but the pad moulds nicely after an initial nappy feel and the liner wicks and moves well. The price is decent too.
