Gore Ozon Bib Short review

The Ozons are towards the upper price bracket but this is reflected in their attention to detail, which includes abrasive resistant lycra panels along the insides of the legs, protecting them from saddle rub.

The pad is perfect, and doesn't need any wearing in - it sits still both in and out of the saddle and contours really well. Although the mesh straps join the Lycra ones at the collar bone, they're flat-locked stitched so don't cause any problems - in fact, the seams throughout the eight panels are very good. The mesh back panel is small but the Ozons feel plenty breathable. Nice touches are the ironed on label - which means there's no irritating rub - and reflective logos and piping to either side and at the back. The straps are short, so tall riders should size up.

Colours: black/fireball, black, black/white.

Sizes: S-XXL.
