Our review
A full hardcore cockpit for the price of most half-decent bars

The performance of this instant hardcore combo is nothing special, but the overall value is outrageously good.

The thickset high-rise bar is the right width for power steering. The general shape is similar to the classic Truvativ Holzfeller – not immediately likeable for some, but fine for most after a bit of twisting to taste. Weight is certainly good for its true price and it feels less stinging than a lot of budget bars we’ve used.

We say true cost because £39.99 also buys you a set of alloy collar bolt-on grips with a diamond file and raised bar pattern. Plus you get a basic but stiff and serviceable 50mm block stem in your goodie bag, making this the cheapest hardcore set we’ve seen.
