Lightweight and grippy with a good-sized platform. Pricey, though

At only 16mm thick, the Gravity Light pedals feel great on your feet and don’t weigh a whole lot. Grip comes from eight replaceable pins on each side, which screw in from the back, so there are no issues when it comes to removing bent or snapped ones.

After a good few months of downhill bike abuse, they’re still going strong, and the Teflon bushes still spin sweetly without any wobble. The platform size is good too, and the grip from the pins is great, even with trainers.

The pins are sharp though, so beware of those nasty shin diggers! These pedals really are expensive though, and we can’t help thinking that it’s to the point of being slightly overpriced.
