Excellent quality but the fit is selective, not universal

Inform is Bontrager’s entry into the mass-produced, mass-marketed saddle fitting game.

The titanium railed RL saddle is a top of the range race model. It’s very well made and looks the part with some tidy finishing touches, but we’re just not sure that the saddle fit system works for us.

It’s comfy but no more than an off-the-shelf saddle, and although saddle choice is subjective, we’re split 50:50 on whether comfort was improved.

It’s good to have the correct saddle size, but some testers found the front uncomfortable when riding head down and, although it’s well made, we’d still choose other saddles over the RL.

The Inform saddle system measures your bum’s sit bones to fit one of three saddle widths (128mm, 143mm and 150mm). The rear curvature of the saddle is customised, based on saddle size, and Zone Density foam adds support and comfort to specific regions.
