Bontrager Race Lite Fit Crz review

If you're anything like most MTB molls, we know you'll be delighted that this Bontrager saddle is as unisex looking as they come. Don't let appearances deceive you though, as it's a super comfy saddle for the sisterhood.

Our review
Supremely comfortable, lightweight and well priced ladies pew

If you're anything like most MTB molls, we know you'll be delighted that this Bontrager saddle is as unisex looking as they come. Don't let appearances deceive you though, as it's a super comfy saddle for the sisterhood. The long slim profile definitely suits more, ahem 'experienced' and narrower-hipped bikers, but most of our testers found it comfortable immediately and it's a firm favourite.

The CRZ centre hole reduces personal pressure and cools hot spots, while the rounded shoulders give excellent support without getting in the way of pedalling. The long broad nose and shallow upsweep gives plenty of room to move around but still keeps you planted when cranking hard. A double padded LUX version is also available, and if our glowing review isn't enough, then Bontrager gives an 'Unconditional Comfort Guarantee'.

This means you can return the saddle for a full refund after 30 days if you don't get on with it. Hollow Ti rails keep the weight remarkably low for a women's saddle (a 200g Race X Lite FIT is also available), while the Kevlar back protects against scrapes. The embroidered side stripes age quickly, but that's our only gripe.
