The Pave HP is a performance saddle best suited to high miles and added comfort. The stiff carbon reinforced shell features Fizik's Wingflex system to ease thigh movement with titanium rails helping reduce weight and add a bit of forgiveness.
The saddle is very neatly finished. Brooks aside all the Fizik saddles in the grouptest stand out for their quality. The Pave is a very different shape to the Arione, with a highly padded and rounded upper with the nose noticeably thinner and a bit shorter. If you are a bigger, slightly heavy rider we'd recommend going for a saddle with a bit more girth in the nose. Smaller riders will like the shape. Another good long distance saddle that's very comfortable when you're pedalling hands on the hoods, with your weight shifted rearwards. For a more aggressive race position stick with the Arione.
