Bombshell might be a new name to you, but these wheels have an appetite for hard riding that will get them noticed quickly, especially now Kyle Strait and Darren Berrecloth are riding the freeride/race models
These trail wheels use Bombshell's own Revolution rims which are a healthy 32mm wide, giving wider tyres a stout, squared-off stance when mounted. The Bombshell disc hubs use the six-bolt standard pattern and are neatly designed. Our standard QR axle versions have spun smoothly, without need of adjustment or service through some seriously crappy weather. Access to the bearings is easy via a 2mm grub screw in the axle ends.
For a heavy duty freeride wheelset, the 2.56kg weight for the pair is about right and while they're not going to go uphill fast, once they're rolling they feel totally stable.
