The Blade 2’s detachable peak is well placed to take the edge off any glare from the sun, and the 16 vents help disperse any heat build-up.
It may be a little on the heavy side, but our main issue is that it has quite a shallow proﬁle towards the front. This means it tends to perch on top of your head when riding and can feel unstable.
A ratchet closure around the back of the head is controlled by a dial, and though it doesn’t feel as positive as some, we had no problems with it in practice. It’s very good to see a full complement of safety standards
