Vote for your top enduro bike in BikeRadar’s Most Wanted Awards

Five of the fastest enduro race bikes, but which is the best?

BikeRadar’s 2016 Most Wanted Awards are underway. You can cast your votes by clicking here.

Our editors assembled the list of nominees based on the following criteria: bikes with a proven record of success under our own testers; bikes that push the envelope in terms of technology and design for their respective categories; and last but certainly not least, bikes and gear that make us want to get out and ride.

Our team of sprocket junkies may have chosen the contenders, but it’s up to your, our readers, make the make the final verdict on which bikes deserve the title of ‘Most Wanted.’

Let’s take a look at the heavy-hitting enduro race bikes vying for the win.

Canyon Strive

The Strive is an envelope-pushing enduro rig. It’s long and properly slack, but it also makes use of some interesting technology to optimize its performance.

Canyon’s ShapeShifter system is a relatively simple but effective way of adjusting geometry and suspension kinematics on the fly, switching between what Canyon calls XC and DH modes.

Evil The Wreckoning

Evil has built a cult following in short order. The Wreckoning builds on the success of the company’s shorter travel 29er trail bike, The Following.

The Wreckoning serves up 161mm of suspension travel in a 29er package that can steamroll anything in its path, while remaining agile enough to flick around. This is a bike designed for the rough and steep and not for the meek.

Mondraker Dune Carbon

The Dune Carbon’s Forward Geometry and sorted suspension allow it to tackle terrain where other bikes come up short.

In the words of one of our testers "the Dune never feels stressed, and wherever you care to take it has a character that’s ruthlessly efficient and charmingly playful at the same time, with the length and slackness not dulling the fun."

Yeti SB6c

The SB6c has won more Enduro World Series championships than any other bike. It also took top slot in last year’s Most Wanted Awards.

Yeti’s Switch Infinity suspension design allows the SB6c to absorb big hits with ease and firm up when it’s time to climb to the next stage.

Can the SB6c pull off another win this year? Time will tell.

YT Capra

YT has quickly made a name for itself by producing quality mountain bikes at realistic prices.

The Capra is the trail slayer in the line and it impressed us with its trail manners and excellent component spec across the board.
