The 2in Gorilla Glass screen displays easy-to-understand menus, which are straightforward to navigate using the buttons on top of the camera. It’s simple to play your clips and photos, and to delete files if you need to free up space on your memory card. The screen means you can check your camera angle before you film too – so no more footage of the ground or sky!
The Wi-Fi app is the most intuitive we’ve used, enabling you to view footage and download clips to your phone, as well as change the camera’s settings remotely. The rotating lens increases the versatility of the flat and curved sticky mounts that are included with the camera, along with a goggle mount.
In each of the settings, the footage captured is incredibly clear, and the Drift copes well with fast-changing light conditions. Being able to film at 120fps in 720p makes for brilliant slow-mo, and though the included remote is a bit clumpy, it works for triggering both video and still photos.
