Lightweight long finger gloves for warmer weather

BikeRadar score3/5

We like the super-thin palm on these. It maximises feel, makes calluses less painful and helps reduce the amount of arm pump we suffer on long descents.

The mesh backing has a glued, stretchy reinforcement that makes them less flimsy than they initially feel, and the thumb has microfibre towelling on it, which does a good job of wiping away what it needs to.

There’s very little bunching of the material either on the palm or back, plus the stretch wrist is secure and is surprisingly faff-free – basically it’s easy to forget you’re wearing them. But not always in a good way.

Although they last well for such a light glove, they’re rather pricey and don’t provide masses of warmth or protection, offering very little resistance to thorns and brambles.
