Nzo Bart Merino T shirt review

Casual and comfortable Merino shirt

BikeRadar score4/5

Better known for their casual styled cycle shorts, Nzo are a cycle clothing brand that sells direct to consumer online. Being in New Zealand, Nzo know two things really well – mountain biking and Merino. The Bart T is a two-tone, simply styled Merino top that we loved both on and off the bike.

Made from 100% Merino wool, it felt like a well-worn pajama top from the very first wear. Lacking any zips or pockets and fitted like a T-shirt, the Bart is easily mistaken for a normal shirt. We found the semi-fitted shape to be amazingly comfortable without being overly baggy. The Bart shrunk after a few machine washes, but the size remains true.

On the hottest of summer days, the Bart isn’t the coolest feeling riding top, but the relaxed fit and dry material stop you from feeling hot and sticky. Like other wool-based tops, the Bart hid smell better than polyester based tops.

Super comfortable, simple style and just AU$49 - the Bart has quickly become a favorite shirt for casual riding.
