ODI The Machine Lock-On grips - in brief review£21.99

BMX grips designed with Maris Strombergs

BikeRadar score3.5/5

ODI have teamed up with two-time BMX gold medallist Maris Strombergs to create a grip perfect for gated racing.

At 143mm in length they’re longer than many, and have small, barely noticeable but functional flanges on the inside of the grips. The starred pattern is very grippy, with the soft, comfy compound working perfectly with or without gloves

The thin diameter combined with the soft compound means they’re comfortable enough for long days in the hills and not just short bursts on the track. ODI’s Lock-On system is the original and works a treat too, although the 2.5mm Allen key bolts can round off if you’re not careful.
