The Bronson has established itself as a top-notch all-round performer.
It’s a different tread design to most, with lots of small, irregularly shaped blocks in a loose chevron formation. The result is layers of overlapping tread that gives easy rolling while maintaining lots of working edges.
The shoulder blocks are especially prominent, with the Bronson hanging on at quite implausible levels of lean. When it does let go, it does so quite quickly though.
The test tyres were the AM TCS version, which combine locking beads for easy tubeless running with Inner Peace sidewalls, stiffened to ward off pinch flats, although it doesn’t do much to ward off pointy rocks. Different sizes and compounds are available too.
