USN Epic Pro all-in one review£44.39

Endurance energy drink

BikeRadar score4/5

Ultimate Sports Nutrition’s Epic Pro All-In-One is designed to be used before, during and after long periods of exercise (over three hours). The 48.8g of carbohydrate per 500ml make it one of the most energy-laden products we’ve tested here. It also provides 16g of protein.

The drink’s thick consistency – probably due to the whey and maize starch – is matched to a pleasant tropical flavour. The consistency is fine in cooler conditions, but in hotter weather and during hard exercise it might be a little hard to consume.

Mixing the drink can also be a little bit tricky with some lumps of powder remaining after we’d shaken it up. Using a proper mixing bottle (such as a recovery shake bottle) would be advised.
