Josh Bryceland officially joins Cannondale

Ratboy is joined by a band of up and coming shredders representing the American brand

50to01 and Bryceland fans will have already seen the Instagram post of Josh riding his new bike — a Cannondale Habit — at his local trails around Sheffield. But now, the news is official, Josh will be riding for Cannondale for the foreseeable future.

The new Cannondale crew have loads of talent

Cannondale has sponsored a host of top names in the past, including the legendary Missy Giove, Cédric Gracia, Brian Lopes and Anne-Caroline Chausson during the late '90s and early 2000s. The new roster of riders, led by Josh, are up-and-coming shredders that ooze style.

The team is made up of four riders, Sam Hockenhull, Max Nerurkar and Sam Cofano, who all come from Josh's local area and are associated with the 50to01 movement.

“I wanted to start something new, fresh and unexpected,” said Bryceland. “This is a way to build something and give back to the next generation of riders.”

We're all looking forward to seeing these guys jib, shred and send their way down trails on our screens sometime soon.

Alex has been riding bikes since he was knee-high to a grasshopper. He first raced back in 2003, winning the Juvenile category on a sketchy hard tail Planet X bike. Alex lived in the Alps for seven years so isn't shy of a climb or two and loves getting out in his bike in all weather. His favorite thing to ride is steep loamy tracks with loads of opportunities to slam the bike into turns and really give it some frame bending welly! He's broken his fair share of frames, so any bike between his knees is going to get a right seeing to.
