Peaty's Bike Bonanza - a new bicycle marketplace

The ultimate car boot sale for mountain bikers

If you aren't too far from Sheffield, it's time to put Steve Peat's Bike Bonanza on your calendar. The legend of mountain biking has got together with his friends, and created a fresh marketplace event for riders to buy and sell bikes and gear.

The Bonanza takes place on Sunday, 2 November, from 9am to 2pm, at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, and will offer visitors the chance to buy and sell new and used bicycle parts.

Local bike shops, various race teams and their pro riders will also be present to sell exclusive bikes and kit.

A dedicated and secure test area will be included for riders who want to try out a bike (new or used) before they buy it.

Entrance as a buyer will cost £5, and if you wish to sell any bikes or bike-related items, a pitch for a stand will set you back £25. Pitches must be booked before November – contact richard@peatysbikebonanza.co.uk to do so. Trade stands are also available, starting at £45. Contact the same email address for more information.

With more than 10 years of experience riding mountain bikes, Oli knows the good from the bad when it comes to gear. He's a total bike nerd and loves few things more than fettling with spangly riding bits. Also, he seems to have a talent for crashing hard but emerging unscathed.
