The first round of the 2008 MSC/Descent-Gear downhill National Points Series starts this weekend, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27April at Ae Forest in Dumfries, Scotland.


Open practice begins on Saturday at 9am with seeding runs starting at 3pm. Three hundred of the world’s top riders are expected to race the course on Sunday when racing proper begins at 2.30pm.

Live timing and commentary, as well as a large marquee, caterers and evening entertainment will be provided. Parking and spectating is free. There’ll also be retail stands if you’re after a spot of retail therapy. Why not bring your bike and explore the great cross country trails which are part of the 7Staines network.
