661 Mini Downhill returns to Forest of Dean this Sunday

Short course, lots of fun

The 661 Mini Downhill is returning to the Forest of Dean

The 661 Mini Downhill series is returning to the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire on Sunday following a successful innaugural event in December.

Organisers Naked Racing say the short course should make for some intense racing and a good laugh, topped off with some great prizes from sponsors 661, Royal and Sunline.

The race will feature the UK’s first ever Rippers category, for 10 and 11-year-olds, free Rockstar energy drink and appearances by top riders, including Fionn Grifiths (Norco World Team) and Joanna Petterson (BTI/Commencal USA).

Organiser Chris Roberts said: “The race was oversubscribed weeks ago with lots of excited new riders all eager to give mini downhill racing a go.”

Practice starts at 9am with racing starting at 11am. Riders will get two race runs. For full details, see www.minidh.co.uk.
