6th Revolution series starts in November

Another chance to see the Team GB Olympians in action

The world will be out for revenge at this year's Revolution

The 6th British Revolution series is due to start on the 15th of November in the Manchester Velodrome. The series gives the opportunity for international track stars to face-off in an action-packed, alternative race program and, given the Team GB’s recent Olympic success, tickets are selling quickly.

Revolution was created in 2003 by Face Partnership and the Manchester Velodrome to provide a new style of cycling event in the UK, aiming to increase spectator appeal and change the way people think about the sport.

The 7 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze and 1 world record at this year’s Olympic Games have certainly helped. “Cycling is the sport of the moment and everyone wants to see our Olympic champions in action,” said Face’s James Pope.

The event organisers are now looking for cyclists to challenge the world-class British Team. “We’ve always looked to set up head-to-head races and revenge matches, but this has normally been geared towards the Brits getting revenge,” said Pope. “Now it will be the other way round.”

“I’m sure the French will be eager to take a shot at our sprinters and we have already received a lot of interest from other countries, so I’m confident we will be in store for an explosive season.”

The event takes place on the 15th November, 6th December, 10th January and 21st   February, so visit www.cyclingrevolution.com to book your tickets and for more information.
