Aldi cycling gear is back in store
Budget cycle clothing for the credit-crunch conscious
Published:
Hot on the heels of Lidl’s recent sale of bike tools and gear, Aldi – the ‘other’ UK-based German budget store – will be selling a range of Crane Sports branded cycling gear from Thursday 18 September in most stores across the country.
Concentrating mostly on clothing, the range looks to be a commuters’ dream, with a high-viz rain jacket for £12.99, waterproof cycling trousers for £7.99 and thermal gloves for £3.99 a pair.
Other highlights available are the cycling cap and overshoes for £5.99, cycling socks for £2.49 a pair and SPD shoes for £19.99. We’ve tested some Crane Sports products in the past, and they’ve performed very well for the price [see related articles, right].
