Aldi's ridiculously cheap cycling gear is back once again

New range features £49.99 turbo trainer and lots of winter gear

Several times a year, German supermarket chain Aldi sets the budget-savvy cycling world ablaze, with queues outside of shops to nab some bargain-tastic swag not uncommon.

Now its latest kit is soon to land in stores nationwide, so here's the scoop what to expect — including a turbo trainer for just £49.99 and enough winter clothing to dress a rider from head to toe.

Giving you a penny back from that wad of fifty pound notes you carry around all the time is Aldi's new turbo trainer which surely has to be the highlight of this latest range.

With six adjustable resistance levels and a foldable frame, this is a cheap way to avoid having to face any foul weather this winter.

Another highlight is Aldi's all-weather cycling jacket — we can't imagine this £19.99 shell will be particularly breathable, but it's probably a great option for leaving stashed in the bottom of a rucksack.

There's little info on Aldi's windproof cycling jersey, but we do know it'll also include merino wool and costs a mere £19.99.

Aldi will shortly be selling a pair of tights for £13.99 — perfect for any cold riding this winter.

Aldi's affordable range of accessories is probably even more sought after than its budget clothing line and this time around there appears to be a few excellent offers.
