The company is looking an individual between the age of 16 and 21 interested in all elements of multimedia and action sports culture. The winner will be attending VIP events, be exposed to the top bods in the business, and be given the chance to learn from some of the most respected photographers, cameramen, journalists, editors, producers and designers in the action sports industry.
Last year's winner was BMXer Ben Green, who had this to say about the award: "As the Nike 6.0 Media Apprentice, I've had one of the best years of my life. I not only got given a top spec digital SLR setup, but also had the complete backing by Nike 6.0 on most projects that I conceptualised and wanted to pursue. I have had an overwhelming amount of support that has included professional advice, reviews of my projects and pretty much any passes, tickets or kit that I've needed to help me with my progression."
This year, Adobe will sponsor the project, meaning that the winner will receive software, cameras and digital equipment as part of their apprenticeship.
