The new year is fast approaching, and with it returns a BikeRadar classic – the 2013 Cyclepassion calendar. Known for its images of female cycling stars in seductive poses, this year's edition is certainly no exception (here's last year's calendar for reference).
The theme for 2013 revolves around kit, with images of both the athletes and spangly bike parts. Clever and creative use of Photoshop then merges the two to produce something quite extraordinary, as you can see in the full gallery.
Athletes for the calendar are from all over the world, and include German track cyclist and Olympic gold medallist Kristina Vogel, US pro Sonya Looney and many others.
Photographed by Daniel Geiger, the calendar is now in its eighth year. Sticking with the double-sided design from last year, the 2013 version includes two images for every month.

One side features mostly full-colour, sexy photos of each athlete while the flipside explains the girls' professional life and includes race photographs. Its makers have also added a small story about each sportswoman with personal information about them.
The calendar is printed in a 68x40cm (27x16in) format and is available now from Cyclepassion's website for €36.
