Steve Geall's frame building business, G-Bikes has made some modifications to the sought after Bitch for 2005. Nothing major of course - as Steve says, it's been a pretty dialed rig from day one. The changes mean the disc-mount has been refined a bit, the drop-outs have been changed slightly and the seat-tube angle has been adjusted. We pressed Steve about his plans for G-Bikes and he let slip that he's been looking at using an integrated BB system some time in the future. Rather than having cups pressed or screwed into the frame, you simply pop a set of Profile bearings into the specially machined BB shell. This is something that's only just coming out on BMXs right now, so don't expect it to appear any time soon, but it could be an interesting development when/if it does happen.
Steve's still got some of the 04 team frames for sale - his and Ollie Fielder's frames are going for £250, Chopper's back-up frame (which hasn't been ridden) is going for £350. Steve can also offer a full respray in a colour of your choice for about £40 - not a bad investment for a frame that should last for ever.
