New website launched to buy/sell new and used bikes

Bikesoup offering free ads to BikeRadar readers

A new website,, has just launched, offering a trading hub for new and second-hand bikes.

BikeRadar readers can upload their bikes for free for one month using the code bikeradar15nov.

As well as offering bikes from private sellers, Bikesoup will also have a database of bikes sold by the network of independent bike dealers across the UK.

Selling fees once the BikeRadar code has expired look pretty attractive too, with the maximum fee for bikes over £500 set at £9.90 – significantly lower than eBay prices. Of course, you can still use our own classifieds section for free.

Antony Auty, managing director of Bikesoup, said: “This will be the first bike-specific website to be launched with a custom-made user interface for buying and selling bikes that has separate functionality for private and trade advertisers. We believe this will dramatically improve product exposure for independent cycle shops, as well as provide an excellent service for consumers.”
