Putting the pressure on GeeGee Atherton came 1st on both days of the Southerns at Combe Sydenham, with brother Dan coming 2nd on both occasions, underlying the huge promise the Atherton family represents. And don't forget their sister who Helen Mortimer has been tipping as a top rider for two years now.
It's probably the worst thing you can do to up and coming riders, but good judges - who should know better - are already muttering that Gee will be the next British World Champion after Steve Peat.
Whatever, it's excellent to have such quality riders on the UK scene, following in Peaty's footsteps in more ways than one - they have the downhill skills, the appetite for going huge and the wild but sorted attitude that Steve inherited from Jason McRoy.
Riders like this may well make us proud of them, we hope so, but one things for sure: they won't make us ashamed.
