Last chance to race with the best in the UK

The weekend of 6-7 August promises to be a big one on the domestic race scene. Not only are the NPS 4X finals taking place down in Portreath in Cornwall, but up in Sherwood Forest, the final rounds of both the NPS XC and Trek 6-4-2 will be taking place.
Cornwall promises great racing and a great atmosphere at a new site just down the coast from Newquay. On Saturday there will be the King of Dirt competition with plenty of entertainment (in the form of booze, food and music) for spectators, so it's probably lucky there's camping on site for anyone too innaebriated to get home...

Heading north to the midlands, the NPS XC series finishes off at Sherwood Pines. Oli Beckingsale and Jenny Copnall have can't be beaten to the series titles in the Elite categories but in the other categories there's still plenty to fight for. Expect fast, furious and above all fun racing on Saturday. There's always the opportunity of signing up for the race on the day so if you're interested at trying your hand at racing just turn up with your bike and a helmet and give it a go.
For those who prefer to get as many miles under their belts as possible, Sherwood Pines will also be hosting the Trek 6-4-2 on Sunday. Ride as a pair or solo and try and cover as many laps as possible in the allotted time. It couldn't be simpler...
