World Cup Brits storm the podiumAbout the only thing they didn't alter here was the famous Mont-Sainte-Anne party, which is still going on as I write. The classic four minute course was changed drastically to a track half that length but tough as hell. It was crash city in the finals and some heavy stacks were reported.
The adrenalin flowed and the conditions seemed to suit the British contingent with Peaty and Ffionn Griffiths posting wins and Tracy Moseley making the women's race a Great British one-two.
MBUK's Will Longden has really got his act sorted out and is flying. A 16th place here putting him in the Top Ten overall (just).
Not much action for UK riders in the 4X races though, with Boom Boom having a mare and nobody going much further than the quarter finals. Something to do with the sexing up of the downhill courses? Maybe. We move on from here to another short but challenging course at Grouse Mountain.
