Ritchey continues with Health Net & Symmetrics

Top North American teams on Ritchey gear

Component maker Ritchey Design has renewed its sponsorship of the North American Health Net presented by Maxxis &  Symmetrics fuelled by FarmPure  teams.

Ritchey will supply the two squads with handlebars, stems and seatposts, continuing its five-year relationship with Health Net and three-year relationship with Symmetrics. In addition, Symmetrics will use Ritchey’s new carbon fork and saddles.

"Health Net and Symmetrics are two of the toughest competitive teams on the professional road racing circuit," said Steve Parke, general manager and vice president of marketing for Ritchey. "We believe bike racing is the best place to prove our component designs.”

Health Net has been the dominant team in US domestic racing for the last few years, with four consecutive USA Cycling National Racing Calendar (NRC) team titles and an annual average of 35 NRC one-day, stage and overall stage race victories.

Symmetrics has been the most successful team to come out of Canada in recent years with team rider Svein Tuft winning the UCI America Tour in 2007 and the team’s efforts helping secure three world championship and Olympic rider spots for Canada.
