The British Team Midland Racing has organised a 24 hour ride to support Children in Need, an annual British charity appeal organised by the BBC.
Six teams are riding laps of the Calshot velodrome near Southampton, starting at 10pm on Thursday, November 13th and finishing at 10pm on Friday. Among the participants are British Paralympians Simon Richardson and Darren Kenny, who won six Paralympic gold medals between them in Beijing recently.
Each team is on the track for an hour at a time, with the team leader wearing a yellow jersey and carrying a Pudsey bear on the front of their bike.
The teams are on track to complete 540 miles of riding in the 24 hours. You can help the cause by going to www.justgiving.com/tmpudsey24hr and donating.
