Test your mettle in Merrell MTB Duathlon series

ICEMan challenge is not for the fainthearted

The first event in the super-tough Merrell MTB Duathlon series takes place later this month. The ICEMan mountain bike duathlon comprises a 10km run, 15km cycling section and then a final 5km run. 

It is set to take place in Frimley, near Farnborough, Surrey, on Saturday 21 February. Entry costs £43 and the race starts at 10.30am.

Organisers Human Race said: "Not for the fainthearted, this promises to be super tough, hilly and extremely challenging. We guarantee oodles of pain, mud and, most importantly, fun. So, whether you're a hardened triathlete, adventure racer or mountain bike rider, this is the event for you!"

You can enter online at www.humanrace.co.uk  Merrell will provide prizes for winners and all competitors will get a T-shirt and goodie bag.

Second in the series is the Merrell MudMan on Saturday 7 March, with a 7.5km run, 15km mountain bike section and final 7.5km run. Entry is £43. To finish off the series, another MudMan is planned for Saturday 21 November.
