PIC BY TDWSPORT.COM Italian sprinter Daniele Bennati (Lampre) won Wednesday afternoon's second stage of the Tour Mditerranen in a bunch sprint. Bennati beat Roberto Petito (Liquigas) and Igor Astarloa (Milram) into Agde after the 107 km stage. The race leadership remained with Jos Iv n Gutirrez (Caisse d'Epargne-Illes Balears), who was part of the winning team in the morning's team time trial. Thursday's stage will be run between St Cannat and Marseille, over 158 km.
