UK Midlands XC racing is back in Cannock

Featuring a 4-mile lap, it's all about mountain biking at its best

Midlands XC racing is back at Cannock on 5 August and 2 September featuring a full-on 4-mile lap which includes sweet singletrack through the trees and even a mini downhill run. The course should remain dry whatever the weather, thanks to Cannock's sandy soil.

Race one is British Cycling category E, while round two is the category D Midlands Championships but you don't need a licence to race, anyone can enter on the day. Alternatively you can enter online here. There are also some great spot prizes thanks to XCRacer and Cadence Sport, with medals for the top three in every category.
Racing starts at 11am for under 18s and all female categories, with senior races at 2pm. Timing is provided by Timelaps and results will be available on the day and the same evening online. All details are available here, with online entry available until 1 August for round one.
