There are four 300-mile routes to choose from, including two brand new for 2012 which take four days to complete; a women-only route, and a trek open to all which passes through the Normandy countryside. Also available is a faster three-day option starting on 19 July for those up to the challenge or simply short on time.
Last year’s event raised over £800,000 for research into conditions affecting babies and children, including meningitis, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and premature birth.
