Video: Honey Stinger Organic Energy Chews taste test

New natural nutrition

As the name suggests, Honey Stinger specialise in honey-based nutrition products. The American company's new Organic Energy Chews are touted as a more natural and better tasting alternative to some of the additive-stuffed gels and bars out there, so we decided to put them to the test.

Wrapped in 50g bags, the chews look like jelly sweets but the ingredients list contains no E numbers, no trans fats and no partially hydrogenated oils. Made from 100 percent organic tapioca syrup and honey, each bag contains 100 percent of your RDA of vitamin C.

The chews are available in a host of flavours including Caffeinated Lime-Ade, Pomegranate Passion Fruit and Pink Lemonade. A 50g packet will cost you £1.75/$1.99 and they're available by the boxload if you find yourself truly stung.
