The race steed of choice for 2004 National Juvenile 4X champion Tom Dowie worth £250!

One of the UK's most popular BSX frames, the Dr Jekyll continues to gain respect as one of the world's finest BSX frames at any price. Carefully honed geometry and an evolution of the best features from all of the previous Identiti BSX frames, the Dr.Jekyll ADS takes the trails alloy hardtail to another level.
Using the right types of tubing and gussets on the light, rigid and strong 7000 series aluminium frame, Identiti has evolved a stylish and brutally efficient race/trail frame that offers outstanding versatility. The frame can be run with discs or Vs, 24 or 26in wheels, derailleur gears, hub gears or singlespeed... all possible, in any combination.

What's ADS?
Identiti's exclusive Adjustable Dropout System allows the rider to horizontally move the rear axle position to set chain tension - a bonus if you're running singlespeed or perhaps a Rohloff Speedhub. Not only is this simple and secure, using the integral threaded chain tugs, but as the axle moves, so does the disc mount and gear hanger, keeping everything in line. The dropouts are also almost vertical, so there's no risk of wheel torque slippage in the dropout under heavy load, so you can even use QR skewers on a singlespeed set-up. There are no disc brake caliper worries either if you need to remove the wheel, as the wheel simply pops out down and forwards, not backwards - with no to the chain tension adjustment problems. All of the vulnerable parts of the dropout (gear hanger, disc mounts, axle slots, main fixing bolts threads, etc) are incorporated into the system, so they're easily replaced if necessary.
ADS works with derailleur/hub gears or no gears at all...

The Dr Jekyll ADS has also had its head angle steepened from 70 to 71.5 degrees to accommodate the more common 100mm plus travel forks in the market.

The ADS has also benefited from revised cable routing, re-shaped sideplate gussets, super rigid double box section chain stays for less flex and an ICGS 3-bolt chain device mounting welded to the BB area.

The Dr Jekyll ADS is worth £250 inc seatpost and clamp. You can get an optional CNC-machined variable position direct fit V-plate mount for £25.
