As part of Cycle Training UKs new Christmas voucher offer, where you can buy cycling lessons as a gift, they are giving away two free sessions exclusively to the Cycling Plus website.
Normally the vouchers start from £41.25 for a complete beginners session, during which trainees are taught to ride more confidently on the road, whether you're a complete beginner or if you want to learn to negotiate the Elephant and Castle roundabout. You'll be escorted out with a cycle instructor for one-on-one tuition and at the end of it will be trained up to the National Standard.
To enter the competition you have to live in the Greater London area, including Hackney, Brent, Ealing, Lambeth, Southwark, Haringey, Redbridge and Hammersmith and Fulham. The age range is four and upwards and you'll need to bring a bike along.
Or why not buy someone their first voucher to open on Christmas day and if you win the second lesson is free, as it normally takes two or three lessons depending on your ability. If you're the type of person who loves to give useful kinds of presents, a voucher from Cycle Training UK couldn't be more practical. Cycling is a skill that lasts a lifetime and you'll be helping the environment at the same time. Plus it's an original present that anyone new to cycling would be pleased to receive.
