Forget Germany - Fort William's where it's at...

The only place to be this weekend is Fort William in the Scottish Highlands for the UK round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.

2005 saw a brilliant weekend for the Brits, with Steve Peat and Tracey Moseley’s now-legendary victories. Peaty and Moseley mania is already building up around Ben Nevis, so rock up to Fort William this weekend to see if they can destroy the downhill field once again.

Other Brits capable of taking Fort Bill by storm are Liam Killeen, Oli Beckinsale, Rachel Atherton, Gee Atherton and Helen Gaskell. They'll be among more than 400 elite riders from around the world gunning around the UK’s best world-class downhill, 4-Cross and cross country tracks so, whatever's your bag, join the party and experience the unique atmosphere of Fort William.

Friday's a practice day, with the real action on Saturday - with the 4X finals and XC competition - and the big downhill finale on Sunday. If that wasn't enough there's the usual World Cup Village, expo area, DJs, big screen, haggis and malt whiskey aplenty, as well as the Scottish One Day Trials open competition.

Need another reason to be there? MBUK are setting up camp early so come over to the Team MBUK/Santa Cruz stand and pay us a visit.
