Following the National Demo Day this weekend, Aston Hill’s gates will remain open indefinitely, following negotiations between the CTC, Forestry Commission and the Aston Hill Mountain Bikers club.
The centre will be open daily between April 7 and 20 from 10am-5pm with a £5 day pass charge. From April 20, access will be restricted to the weekends between 10am and 5pm. Evening openings are expected to be announced in due course.
Club chairman Richard Abbott said, “We have to thank the efforts of many people associated with Aston Hill who have donated much time and effort in reaching this goal. Our thanks must also go out to sponsors and partnering organisations – the CTC and Forestry Commission – who have helped make the re-opening possible”.
To ride the course this weekend on the top bikes from the best manufacturers – for free – then sign up for the Demo Day now.
