BH USA is introducing the Carbon Cross, its first cyclo-cross model, available as a complete bike or frameset.
According to BH USA, the Carbon Cross frame weighs 1,100g and comes with a carbon fork with a full-carbon steerer tube. The high modulous monocoque frame features top mounted cable stops for easy portaging over race barriers.
“The Carbon Cross was designed with AG2R rider John Gadret in mind,” said BH USA’s Adam Vincent. “Gadret is the team’s climbing phenom, but also has been on the podium of the French cyclocross championships 10 years in a row. He has won the French cyclocross title three times.”
BH USA will begin shipping the Carbon Cross to retailers in July – plenty of time for the upcoming cross season. It will be available as a complete bike with Shimano Ultegra SL, FSA and Mavic components for US$3,150 or as a frameset for US$2,199. All BH bikes are backed by a lifetime warranty.
