Blog: Summer reading for the Tour

We might as well read!

Two books most likely on Lance's bookshelf these days.

Astana team director Johan Bruyneel is a busy man this July, but he’s not spending it in France like he has for nearly 20 years.

Nope, the director behind Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador’s combined eight Tour de France victories is in the United States, signing copies of his new book “We Might As Well Win” in select cities. The 43-year-old Bruyneel and his Astana team were not invited to defend their title this year, so Bruyneel is spreading his mojo around a bit with his new book from Houghton Mifflin Company.

Check out our review of this book and another one most likely found on Armstrong’s bookshelf, “The Tour is Won on the Alpe“. Like Bruyneel, if you can’t be at this year’s Tour, you might as well read about it.
