The Bontrager Twentyfour12 takes place at Newnham Park, Plymouth on July 26 and 27, and Keith Bontrager recently paid the course a visit to see if it was up to scratch. Judging by the helmet camera footage of a couple of singletrack sections on the course, it looks like it’s going to be a treat.
The course for a dry race will be eight and a half miles but it will be reduced to seven and a half miles if it’s wet. There is one river crossing which has a bridge by the side for riders who don’t want to get their feet wet.
There are still around 40 places left for the whole event, which will bring the total entry number to about a thousand. An email update for the event will be sent to all Team Captains this week.
Entry lists are on xcracer.com for you to see who you’re up against.
