City gearing up for first round of Tour Series

Milton Keynes is holding a day of cycling ahead of the Tour Series

Milton Keynes is holding a day of cycling activities this weekend, ahead of the first Tour Series race taking place in the city next week.


The family events in Midsummer Place will range from skills sessions to displays by professional stunt riders.

They will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday (16 May) and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

Gin Corrado, events co-ordinator at Milton Keynes Council, said: “We are hoping to further raise awareness of the grand event that will be hitting the city streets next Thursday, offering a day full of cycling fun for all and culminating with a spectacular professional race featuring the country’s best cycling professionals.”
