Our Bike Demo Days series rolled into Cannock Chase in Staffordshire at the weekend, where more than 230 riders took a spin on the latest machines from Trek, Corsair, Lapierre, Norco and more.
Many came with the intention of buying a bike based on the demo rides, while others wanted to test the different suspension platforms and frame materials on offer. They could take their pick of some 120 bikes from 13 brands.
With over 900 bikes tested throughout the day on ‘real’ trails (not the bike shop car park), there were many happy customers. One said: “Great day! It was fantastic to check different bikes against each other. It’s amazing the difference in how they ride. It’s really helpful choosing the bike to buy rather than spending money on the wrong thing.”
Another said: “Excellent day, with great service. Manufacturers were very accommodating. The staff were excellent and friendly and very helpful too.”
The next mountain bike Demo Day is at Glyncorrwg in Afan Forest Park, near Neath, South Wales. For more information and to book your test ride now, go to the Bike Demo Days website. If you’ve got any questions, just head over to our dedicated Demo Days forum page and we’ll do our best to answer.
