First look: Yeti’s new Asr7 frame
Yeti have added a new frame to their product line which UK distributor Stu King describes as like one of their 575 full-suspension trail bikes “on steroids”.
Built around a burlier frame than the 575, the Asr7 falls in the ‘great going up, great going down’ range of trail bikes with 7in of travel at the back, and designed to take 6in forks at the front.
It’s got a carbon dogbone link for stiffness, room for a fat tyre out back, and the ability to run single, double or triple chainsets with ’05 ISCG mounts.
The frames will be available at the end of May and will have a recommended retail price of £1,899 with a Fox RP23 shock, with a DHX Air shock also available.
Colours will be the traditional turquoise, white or, for £60 extra, black anodised.
